Complaint questionnaire
The national supervisory authorities generally require complaints against financial service providers to be completed on a form (questionnaire) in order to simplify the course of business. However, a complaint procedure is not an out-of-court arbitration procedure (extra-judicial settlement) and cannot replace civil lawsuits. – See complaint clustering, gatekeepers, employee registers…. – Cf. 2005 Annual Report of BaFin, p. 193 (form available on the authority’s website).
