Own-name transaction

Auch in: DE FR

If a bank receives an order to buy or sell securities, it may act itself as the supplier or purchaser. As a rule, the terms and conditions of business provide that the bank is permitted to act as a contracting party if, in individual cases, the customer does not exclude this when placing the order. – See Execution Claim, Stock Exchange Obligation, Inhouse System.
