In a general economic sense, the ability to adapt easily and – depending on the circumstances – comparatively quickly to changing market conditions. – In the financial market, the ability of financial market participants to move or be moved easily. – In the labor market, the willingness of employees to move – to another employer, – to another location, – to another occupation, – from inactive to employed status, or – from employed to inactive status. – For a company, the ratio of current assets (circulating assets) to current liabilities.
