Gross yield
For banks under Basel II, interest result plus interest-related income. The latter includes – income less expenses from fees and commissions, – net income from financial transactions, and – other ordinary income. This does not include extraordinary and non-scheduled items. Revenues are to be stated before deduction of operating losses. – Cf. Deutsche Bundesbank Monthly Report of April 2001, p. 28, Deutsche Bundesbank Monthly Report of September 2004, p. 87 (there, in abbreviated form: net interest income + net fee and commission income + net income from financial transactions + other operating income = gross income) and, in extrapolation, the respective September report of the Deutsche Bundesbank, Deutsche Bundesbank Monthly Report of June 2011, p. 60 f. (net interest income of German banks since 2003; calculation issues).
