European System of Accounts (ESA)
set of rules for the statistical recording and allocation of macroeconomic stocks and flows. By ordinance of the EU, this statistical nomenclature is to be applied bindingly throughout the EU. The Statistical Office of the European Communities has published detailed help and explanations on the rules now in force (EAS 95) in a methodological volume. –
