Denaro and Danaro (ship share)

In old documents, also the share in a ship or its cargo (co-ownership of a ship or the cargo of a freighter). The corresponding bearer security could be deposited as collateral for a loan with a bank that was equipped for such transactions, namely one that was knowledgeable and experienced in maritime trade. – See rembour credit, ship financing.
