Chinesisation
A term that emerged after 2005 to describe the fact that the German (export) economy – is becoming increasingly dependent on trade with China, – China will also become Germany’s most important trading partner in the future, and – this will have a variety of effects on the financial market as well. – Whether this is actually the case is disputed. In any case, in 2013 France, the Netherlands and the USA were still Germany’s most important trading partners; only then followed by China. – See China euphoria. – Cf.
