Beneficiary arrangement
In the financial market in general, the legal betterment of a customer compared to others. – In particular, in the case of insurance policies, the betterment of a policy holder (more favorable situation of a policy holder compared to other insurants), for example by granting the policy holder a right of daily termination or by the insurance company waiving the first annual premium. Such arrangements are prohibited by the supervisory authorities in Germany. – Cf. Annual Report 2012 of BaFin, p. 88 f.
