Benin Neglect (also used in German, but with different meanings)

Doing nothing about a problem, in the hope that it will not be serious or time will solve it. – A central bank basically bases its policy only on domestic economic conditions. It ignores (largely; by and large) the development of the exchange rate: it neglects (neglects; neglects) it. – See Orientation, exchange rate determined.
