Auch in: DE FR

The fact that in developed economies the share of services – measured in terms of gross domestic product or – in terms of foreign trade is increasing. – For banks, this means special considerations in the underlying of loans to service providers because buildings, machinery and inventories are often not available as collateral. – See export ratio, research ratio, import content, risk, service shift, structural change, unit value ratio, terms of trade, sales securitization, growth contribution, value added, industrial. – Cf. ECB Monthly Bulletin, May 2007, pp. 79 ff. (contribution of the service sector in the euro area; textbook presentation; many overviews).
