Share as the title to a certain nominal amount of the share capital of a stock corporation. – Securities certificate for participation in the assets of a capital management company, in practice often also called investment fund unit or investment fund certificate (US: investment fund certificate and often share for short; especially in the case of mutual funds). – Other term for interim certificate. – See share right, investment share, registered share.
