Unless otherwise defined, productive capital refers to the economy’s fixed assets in their entirety, i.e. the capital stock. The term is synonymous with real capital. – From a business perspective, the term encompasses all tangible assets of a company, such as above all machinery, equipment, buildings and land, and is thus equivalent to the term tangible assets. – See investment, physical capital, assets.
