Multiple bank accounts

Auch in: DE FR

Unless otherwise defined, this refers to the fact that a private household – or, more rarely, a company, where it is customary to maintain accounts – has accounts with several banks. Because, according to surveys, just over fifty percent of customers in Germany compare the charges for banking services, the individual institution must endeavor to work to the customer’s satisfaction. Competition in the retail business is correspondingly strong. – See credit scoring procedure, market forces, McDonaldization, personal loans, personal credit, retail business, wholesale banking.
