In general, a deep-seated enmity against everything connected with money (Greek: misos = hatred, chrema = money). Such an aversion can be found especially among some literary people, who, of course, are usually very keen on their own possession of as much financial means as possible. – In particular, there is a deep aversion (profound aversion) to banks, especially to their leaders, who are believed to have nothing but bad intentions. Occasionally, during the subprime crisis and its aftermath, this was expressed very clearly in public – also from the mouths of leading politicians. Personally corrupt journalists called all those working in the financial sector “banksters”. – See bank bashing, banker, bankist, bankocracy, bonus, Citigroup bonus system, financial vulture, financial sodomite, financial capital, financial oligarchy, money abolition, money people, money mouth, handshake, golden, high finance, capital, mammon, offshore leaks, bogus bank, shitstorm.
