Gunslinger and hotspur (gunslinger)
In jargon, someone who takes very high risks after seeking high returns in building and managing a portfolio (an aggressive portfolio management in search of large profits). The word entered the financial language in this meaning (originally in English a professional killer who uses a gun) after 1950.
