ECB frequency of meetings
As of January 2015, the Governing Council will generally meet every six weeks. Non-monetary policy meetings will continue to be held at least once a month. The reserve maintenance period will also be extended to six weeks in line with this frequency. The ECB has publicly denied that the change of the meeting rhythm is an alignment with the U.S. central bank, but most financial journalists consider it highly probable.
