Decimal currency

The means of payment of a country or currency area are arranged according to the decimal system (100, 10, 1). – Until modern times, the sixties system (hex[adecimal] system) was widely used,
which still lives on today in the counting of time in hours, minutes and seconds. – In Germany, the decimal currency was introduced in 1871, in Great Britain only in 1971.
