Under Basel III, based on the legal form of a bank and comprising only issued shares and retained earnings. All other capital components, even if they are designed to cover losses, such as silent participations or profit participation capital, can only be recognized as other tier one capital and then at 1.5 percent of the future core capital ratio of 8.5 percent. – See stress test. – Cf.
