Credit, non-transferable (untransferable credit)

Auch in: DE FR JA NL

A loan granted by a bank which it retains on its books; in other words, it may not assign or securitize the claim. In principle, an institution is entitled to assign a claim (assignment of claim). However, the customer can exclude this by contract with the bank. In return, however, the customer usually has to pay a higher interest rate. – See loan sale, conservation, loan assignment, subrogation, securitization, rehypothecation, assignment, special purpose vehicle.
