Valuation in money

The fact that (almost) all human actions consume limited resources, which (have to) be measured in money. – Also all so-called cultural work[s] is under this constraint; because whether a concert or a church service: always factor services must be provided and valued in money as well as remunerated, paid. – In a negative sense, this is the tendency that every thing, regardless of whether it is a thing or a living being – including a human being – is valued exclusively according to its economic instrumentality and this is quantified in money. In this sense, the term plays a role especially in the (early) socialist accusatory literature against market-driven (“profit-seeking”) economics (marked-based economy). – See actus purus principle, omnipotence doctrine, equivalence principle, argyromania, chremagogy, chremaphobia, chrematonomy, financialization, avarice, money, moral, money abolition, money ethics, money faith, money squeezer, money rapper, money philosophy, money economy, money purpose, greed, capitalist, mammonism, misochrematism, pantheism, monetary, thrift, symbol theory, ungoods, traffic accident.
