Vaccination aid capital

Auch in: DE FR

Unless otherwise defined, the fund established by donor countries (Canada, Italy, Norway, Russia and the United Kingdom) and private sponsors such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in 2007 on the initiative of the American economist Michael Kremer to provide long-term financing for large-scale vaccination against epidemics in developing countries. A special program (Advance[ed] Market Commitment, AMC: a legally-binding agreement for an amount of funds to support the purchase of an as yet unavailable vaccine against a specific disease causing high morbidity and mortality in developing countries) is intended to ensure that sufficient vaccines and vaccination stations are available for the future.
