Tax-efficient tips

Auch in: DE FR

Unless otherwise defined, advice given by a bank to a customer on how to make an investment in a tax-efficient manner. – In Germany, banks are generally not permitted to provide individual tax advice. Insofar as securities service companies address the tax treatment of the investment or the income therefrom in their prospectuses, it must be clearly stated that such information ultimately always depends on the customer’s personal circumstances. – See Helvetophobia, Tax Advice. – Cf. BaFin Annual Report 2007, p. 147 (clear indication in sales prospectuses).
