Stock register (stock book)

A list kept by a stock corporation in which, in accordance with the provisions of Section 67 of the German Stock Corporation Act (AktG), the issued registered shares and interim certificates are to be entered, stating the holder’s name, place of residence and profession. Pursuant to § 68 AktG, a transfer of registered shares and interim certificates must also be formally recorded in the share register. – See Voting Rights Authorization.
