Sell Plus Order (also referred to in German)
On the stock exchange, an order to sell, but to be executed only if the last price movement was upward (an order instructing a broker to sell a given security at a price that is above the market price at the time the order is placed. This type of order is not executed until the price reaches the rate specified by the investor). – Many individual small or a few significant orders of this type can easily initiate a downward movement on a stock exchange; especially if computer-controlled buy programs trigger a cluster of orders on other stock exchanges in the world after trading hours or with a time lag. – See bear market, bear, bubble, speculative, crash, foreign exchange, computerized, domino effect, slack, graveyard market, herd behavior, card stack, piece shortage, up-tick rule.
