Promissory note (sola bill)

Auch in: BG CS DA EL IT LT NL PL PT RO SK SL SV TR ZH

A bill drawn by the drawer on himself (a written promise, via a bill of exchange, to pay a certain sum of money, at a future time, unconditionally). – More rarely said in the sense that only a single bill was issued, as opposed to a whole bundle of bills drawn (a single bill, as distinguished from bills drawn in sets).
