Pips (so also said in German, more rarely rate decimals)

Unless otherwise defined, the third, fourth, and possibly fifth decimal place in the quotation of an exchange rate (the smallest commonly quoted change of an exchange rate of a currency pair) – Foreign exchange dealers usually quote among themselves only the supply and demand price in pips; and in the pips also lies their possible trading profit. – See acataphasia, bid-ask spread, big figure, squeezed, handle, point.
