Persons acting jointly

Term from supervisory law. This refers to natural or legal persons who coordinate their conduct – with regard to the acquisition of securities of a target company or – their exercise of voting rights from shares in the target company (acquiree: the firm that should be acquired) with an offeror on the basis of an agreement or in some other way, see section 2, para. 2 WpÜG. – See shareholder vote hunt, share swap takeover, offer, common, shareholder control, mergers and acquisitions, greenmail, vote bundling, voting rights database, takeover offer, company takeover. – Cf.
