One-third gold
(Jewelry) objects made of a metal mixture containing one-third gold, i.e. 8 carats. Unlike in most countries of the world, in Germany corresponding goods may still be called “gold” without further ado and jewelry made of it may be marked with the fineness stamp “333”. – See chrysomania, precious copper, carat, noise gold, intermediate gold.
