Kiddies Manager (also used in German; more rarely Youth Promoter)

An employee of a bank who uses suitable measures (such as visits to kindergartens, the organization of children’s parties) to win the trust of children as the customers of tomorrow. – As a rule, the Kiddies Manager’s area of functions also extends to older students, who are to be tied to the institution by offers tailored to them (such as the gift of a savings book on the occasion of first communion, confirmation or youth consecration; a fee-free account; stock market games). – Various studies seem to confirm that an agitated Kiddies Manager achieves the highest growth in accounts compared to similarly directed advertising measures. Sales on these accounts reach the usual customer levels after a time lag (due to school graduation, training period, and entry into the workforce). – See financial, virtual, dairy, customer care, loss leader, Munchausen, baron, roadshow, spin doctor.
