Information requirements (suitability check[ing])

Banks in Germany are required to inform investors of the associated risks prior to the purchase of financial futures transactions and to require a signature on a corresponding document. The legal basis for this is Section 37d of the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG). – See Investor Information Obligation, Derivatives Information Obligation, Derivatives Code, Editionsgebot, Information Obligation, Information Overload, Capital Investment Model Contract, Risk Report, Risk Monitoring, Structured.
