Designation of a certain type of remuneration for asset managers. – In principle, it is dependent on performance. Depending on the investment strategy – balanced, growth-oriented – the remuneration (performance fee) is generally ten to twenty percent. However, the asset manager only receives the premium on those price increases that exceed the average maximum prices within a period of time. As a rule, a loss must be recouped in the following year. – See all-in fee, fixed fee, hedge funds, herding behavior, loss absorption, personal.
