Financial market letters

Regularly published notices about events on the financial market in general and on the stock exchange in particular, issued by individual authors or companies founded especially for this purpose. Investment recommendations made therein are always to be met with a healthy distrust; and success stories presented are in many cases demonstrably false. – See screen bull, blog, stock market rumors, daimonion, deuteroscopy, secret tip, financial forums, Internet forums, pump and dump, scalping, siderism, Twitter. – Cf. BaFin Annual Report 2007, pp. 172 ff. (market manipulation through stock exchange letters; p. 174: BaFin posted a fact sheet on its website in June 2007 on investment recommendations in stock exchange letters and newsletters), BaFin Annual Report 2009, pp. 171 (market manipulation through stock exchange letters from abroad), BaFin’s Annual Report 2010, p. 211 (conspicuous stock exchange letters from abroad recommending narrow-market, often unknown securities), and the respective BaFin Annual Report, chapter “Supervision of Securities Trading and Investment Business.”
