Dress code and dress code (also used in German, rarely dress code)
In an institute, more or less binding regulations regarding the clothing of the employees in the front office area, sometimes also including the employees as a whole. – If these regulations go down to the last detail, so that all employees are dressed almost identically, they are also referred to as business uniform (business uniform: a prescribed identifying set of clothes for the members of a bank, and in general of an organization). – See Corporate Fashion, Mission Statement, Tenu-Schlamper.
