Deal Breaker (also referred to in German as “Deal Breaker”; more rarely as “Rejection Criterion”)
The only decisive reason or reasons which – in general – speak against participation in an investment, a deal, and – in a narrower sense, in the case of a bank, against granting a loan. – As a rule, the relevant decision-making processes in companies and banks are schematized in advance, so that the experts from market research already give justified negative recommendations to the decision-making bodies in relevant expert opinions. – A circumstance that leads to the immediate termination of the business relationship of a bank with the customer.
