Cost transparency
In relation to the financial market, the requirement that banks and insurance companies disclose their costs to customers, in particular their administrative costs (administration costs: expenses incurred in directing and controlling an institution; the salaries of senior executives and expenditures for general services as data processing center fall under this heading). This enables customers to better compare different offers. – See processing fee, cost pre-charge, Zillmerung. – Cf. 2013 BaFin Annual Report, p. 159 (supervisory authority calls for more transparent cost disclosures by insurance companies).
