Commitment (also usually used in German, but with different meanings)

The contractual commitment of an investor to a commitment, i.e., to pay a certain amount into an investment or fund at a fixed time (obligation to invest). – Commitment to the job; more precisely, the inner alignment with the company (the bank), its goals and values, as well as with one’s own work. Only employees who are committed in this way can be deployed in the front office of a bank to their own satisfaction and to the benefit of customers. Various methods of measuring commitment are presented in the specialist literature. – The task of staff scheduling at a bank is also to – keep dissatisfied employees who have a deterrent effect on customers out of the front office area or – assign them to the group of employees who deter lazy customers and low performers. – See airbag, back-off area, bankers, call center, pressure workforce, empowerment, intangibles, underperformers.
