Boozing subsidy

Auch in: DE FR

Popular term for child benefit and education allowance. It is assumed here that, especially in patchwork families (new families made up from the remnants of divorced families) of the social underclass (riff-raff), the current master of the house or the alcoholic mother spends the money allocated on intoxicating beverages and thus misappropriates it. – See beer money, moped money, earmarking.
