Bank management license

A term widely used in the financial world for the license required under Sections 32 and 33 of the German Banking Act (KWG) to act as a bank manager. Sufficient individual reliability is required; more specifically, the person must be able to guarantee that he or she intends to carry out the activities properly, and – expertise; this means professional knowledge of banking business and management experience. – The mandatory permission requirement in the form of the banking license does constitute a restriction of the freedom of occupation and work enshrined in Article 12 of the Basic Law.
