Balance reporting (also known as balance information system in German)

The ongoing monitoring of sales and account balances – including the respective value dates and disposition balances – of as many accounts as possible. This was introduced at the latest in the course of cash management at companies and banks by variously designed computer-based systems. – See Financial planning.
