Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment (EBPP; electronic invoicing)

Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment (EBPP) denotes a digital billing arrangement in which a biller makes an invoice available to a customer and enables the amount due to be paid through electronic channels. The customer may access the document through an online account or another digital interface, review its contents and authorise payment there or through a connected service. EBPP links the delivery and display of billing information with electronic settlement, replacing or supplementing paper-based invoicing.
