If this refers in particular to a single product, it is also referred to as a single tag, e.g. “Persil” for a Henkel washing agent. – Designation, designation of a distinctive category of a particular kind of a good, such as best grade, branded goods. – A voucher issued to private households as part of social policy that can be redeemed in certain stores for the purchase of food. – A hallmark (impression), especially as a fineness stamp on ingots and goods made of precious metals, but also on other products such as leather goods. – Position, rank, standing, position as a place in an order (a number, letter, or symbol used to indicate various grades of achievement).
