Money on account (inmates’ money)
In the case of building societies, sometimes referred to as the deposits made by the saver plus interest credited to his account. – In the case of prisoners, defined in § 52 StVollzG-NRW as the sum of – money brought into the prison by the prisoner on commencement of his sentence and – monetary payments (such as transfers from family members) to the prisoner by third parties. The prisoner may freely dispose of these means of payment with the consent of the prison.
