Diamonds

Auch in: DE FR

According to estimates, more than ninety percent of the world’s high-carat pieces (top-class exemplars) are held as investment properties. The reason for this is that diamonds – contain the highest value of all known goods in the smallest space, – are easy to conceal from the state and from looting in times of unrest, and even metal detectors have so far been unable to track them down, – can be transported effortlessly and inconspicuously, and also – are usually almost as easy to convert into money or barter goods as precious metals. – See gems, jewels, carats, compensation, tangibles, polygon, magical, valuables.
