Fixed account (deposits at fixed date, time deposits; blocked account)

A deposit held with a bank that is contractually not freely disposable within a certain period of time, i.e., no withdrawals are possible: Fixed-term deposit – Credit balances of legally defined customers at banks – such as on the basis of the Blocked Accounts Law of October 4, 1948, of the military government in Germany – who have been deprived of the right to dispose of their deposits. – See blocked account, assets, blocked.
