マモン(mammon, pelf; boodle)

お金の蔑称 ヘブライ語の[故事]には、それによって人が正しい思考や感情から遠ざかり、いわばお金の奴隷になってしまうという副次的な意味がある。新約聖書のさまざまな箇所で、イエスはこの意味でのマモンを、神のアンチテーゼとして言及している。- 狭義には、当初は不正に得た金銭を指したが、その後、金銭そのものを指すこともある(boodleはもともと偽札や強盗の収益などの不正な利益を指すほか、紙幣のロールも指したが、近年はあらゆる種類の金銭、通常はかなり大きな金額のものを指すようになった)。- Actus purus principle, omnipotence doctrine, initial fact, economic, money ethics, money functions, money faith, money arithmetic, money pride, misochrematism, monetarisation, rebbes, pantheism, monetary, ungoods を参照のこと。
