Cash payment clause

Unless otherwise defined, the contractual prohibition on the part of the card-issuing bank – to grant discounts to cash payers – here in the sense of immediate settlement of the debt by legal tender – as an option to payment by cash card or – to charge fees in the case of payment by cash card (no surcharge rule). – Despite agreed penalties, the cash payment clause is often not observed in the sense of especially in the case of very large transactions. – See contant, discount.
