Savings
In the case of a company, the reduction of costs while maintaining the quantity and quality of the good supplied to the market (financial benefits resulting from a reduction in costs). – In the national accounts, a stock, i.e. the non-consumed part of national income, roughly gross domestic product less expenditure on consumption and government consumption.
