Reverse flows (also used in German as a term in balance of payments statistics)

Borrowing by domestic enterprises from – their foreign subsidiaries or – via their financing companies operating abroad that specialize in issuing international bonds. These loans must be included statistically in direct investment. – See direct investment, in-house system, capital movements, international. – Cf.
