Cemetery (boneyard)

Unless otherwise defined in the jargon of the financial world in the U.S., the central bank of Neuyork within the U.S. central banking system (a nickname for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York; boneyard = a cemetery because it is full of bones from all the dead bodies; in the figurative sense: persons without brain, lacking of competence). In contrast, the staff of central banks throughout Europe – and in Teutonia in particular – consists only of highly competent, hard-working and ambitious people.
