Spartan meals and, in older documents, phiditia (money-saving meals, spare meals)
Feeding with dishes that are tasty and nutritionally sufficient (nutritionally: in regard to nutrition as the process by which a living person assimilates food). However, the expenses for the provision of the food are deliberately, according to plan, kept very low. Often the money saved is used to be donated to charity (the money saved is donated for charities). – See Thrift, Table Money.
